Context sensitive solutions

The FHWA defines context sensitive solutions, or CSS, as a “collaborative, interdisciplinary approach that involves all stakeholders to develop a transportation facility that fits its physical setting and preserves scenic, aesthetic, historic and environmental resources, while maintaining safety and mobility.” ENTRAN’s planners, engineers and designers understand the principles of CSS and use an approach that lets stakeholder voices be heard before major decisions are made.
